Introducing...

Here is the Nikon COOLPIX S9100 12.1 MP CMOS Digital Camera with 18x NIKKOR ED Wide-Angle Optical Zoom Lens and Full HD 1080p Video

  • 18x Wide-Angle Optical Zoom-NIKKOR ED Glass Lens,
  • 12.1-megapixel CMOS sensor for fast operation and very good low-light performance,
  • 3-inch Ultra-High Resolution VGA (921,000-dot) Clear Color Display,
  • At full resolution, you can capture 5 shots per second,
  • 5-way VR Image Stabilization System.

Positives:

  • It's small,
  • Crisp and clear pictures,
  • Very easy to use,
  • Easy to transfer photos to computer and manage them,
  • Battery built in so no need to worry about buying new ones,
  • Lots of options and features for editing on the camera itself,
  • Zoom in and out whilst recording.

Negatives:

  • Good focus on pictures but not perfect,
  • The USB cover is a bit flimsy,
  • Some of the positions of the buttons is a bit awkward,
  • Flash doesn't automatically pop up,
  • Some close up photos might get a bit fuzzy.

Overall Nikon Coolpix s9100 Review

While the Nikon Coolpix s9100 is small, don't let that deter you, there are lots of features packed inside, like autofocusing on a specific person or object.

The size of the camera allows one to easily slip it into one's pocket. And there is no need to worry about having to buy batteries over time, as the Nikon Coolpix s9100 has one built in that you can charge buy plugging into a socket or usb port.

Plug this camera into your computer and you will be able to transfer photos and edit and manage them.

Sometimes the pictures can come out a bit fuzzy but, there are always going to be one or two that don't come out brilliant. Also, the dust cover for the usb is a bit flimsy and as you will be removing this to charge it and do things with the computer and the camera, this could become annoying.

There is no automatic flash, it has to be popped out beforehand, but this is down to personal preference, it may not bother you.

Overall a great little camera.

You mention that the battery is charged within the camera. Does this mean it is not removable for charging? I have gotten into the habit of carrying an extra battery for my Nikon Coolpix so I can pop it in while I'm traveling and often away from a charging source. If the only way to charge is in the camera, I would consider this a no-sale point for me.

If the battery cannot be replaced it is a no-sale for me as well.

The battery in this camera is removable for charging. But you must to buy optional recharger. I have this camera and I have two batteries, which are used interchangeably
